Each of the five guys gets a good ending and a bad ending. I didn’t expect it to be actually depressing at times, but yes, some of the things that happened there really hurt. Gekkamaru’s and Chojiro’s routes are tragically beautiful.
There are two main plots in the game (one for Gekkamaru and Chojiro and one for the remaining ones).

You really feel the emotions and that’s always a plus for me. The voice actors did an astounding job in this game. Not to mention, the music in the game also fit the setting. I also love the sprites’ movements in the game, it makes the action scenes really better and this game is definitely 50% action. There are multiple poses for the sprites (some from side view and even from the back) so the placings of the characters on the screen are more realistic.
The artist is Teito (same artist of Norn9 and Juuzaengi) so that’s definitely a treat. I have always been more of a fan of samurais, but this game just reminded me that shinobis have a lot of astounding characteristics that sometimes outshine the bushido warriors. Of course, there are still some mystical elements embedded, but what I meant about the honesty is their portrayal of the relationships of the shinobis with samurais in this time period.
Get it from Steam (downloadable to your laptop or PC) and please support the release of translated otome games as they’re truly a blessing.Īnyway, this game takes you back to the world of shinobi and what I really loved about it was that it was honest.

It’s fully translated in English with full Japanese voice acting. According to my steam, it took me about 46 hours to play the game in total, but it was so worth it. I just finished this game and I have to say, this game is in the same caliber as Code:Realize and OzMafia! (I’ll have to blog about the latter at some point).
